Valentines Day!

So lets just start off with something not so sweet! Here you go people....sometimes I hate Dental SCHOOOOL! I really do, lets just be honest it is no piece of cake!!! I really hated it on Valentines Day because of course Grant had a test and didn't get home until 9 pm  and couldn't do anything romantic for me, so I was in charge. Oh I am so not about this, I am a firm believer that " V day" is for the Man to be romantic!!! Not the woman!!! haha So anyway I totally got in to character and put on my happy party hat! I thought it would be grand to make our favorite dishes from Olive Garden (why does Italian food always sound more romantic?) Anyway I had some V day gifts for Claire and Grantly, I got those set. Then I decorated a bit and started cooking. Really by the end of the day my attitude was totally different, I just love my little family and it was great to be reminded of all the good I have in life! Don't worry I tell Grant all the time that he is really racking up the IOU's like Dumb and Dumber status!!!! We have this thing now where we say "well someday....." Here is what I say well, someday we will have a total legit V day again and Grant will be done with school! Now that is something to be excited about!!!! haha

Let's get UPDATED

Okay, so the long wait was over to see my BROTHER BEAR again on Feb 8, 2012. I was so excited to see him. When I saw him walking towards our family I couldn't even control my wild tears flowing!!! I was thinking " Oh it is my Brother, that is my Brother!" I couldn't believe it! Then when I hugged my Brother Bear, I couldn't even talk I was crying and like spitting on him, I am sure it was really weird for him! ha Then he met Claire, oh it was just so awesome!!! She really digs him. His name to her is "Sasen." I tried so hard to get her to say it at the Airport but of course she does not perform on demand!  Anyway Chasen's stories from Peru were unreal. My Brother served a Mission, my Brother!!!! I am so proud of him. He really had some rough stories and hard times but whatever! He was able to see things and do things most people will never have the opportunity to do. Real quick this sums it all up for me. Quick story......

 Chasen and I went shopping together a few days after he came home. No big deal right? just getting a few things to brighten up the wardrobe department. Literally....the ladies that washed my Brothers clothes over in Peru, washed them on a rock. So all of his clothes were yellow and scary dirty!!! Anyway back to the story, Chasen freaked out at the store and we had only looked at shirts (we are Francis people, we would shop all day if we could!) Well that changed! Chasen started talking to me in Spanish out of nowhere then he stopped and said " Uh sorry Aubrye I don't even know what I just said." It was so sad he was really freaking out. He kept saying "I don't know Aubrye, I don't know what is cool." He is like the coolest kid ever! He was crazy talking! Then we stopped looking and he said to me "Aubrye I just can't be here buying stuff when I keep thinking about all these kids in Peru that don't have even one shirt to wear." I almost cried/spit on him again.Oh that sweet man! It is true to, most of the pictures of the children that Chasen had were of them in half shirts or no shirt and shorts that were so small that they could not button them. Most of them didn't have shoes. I just can't believe what a jerk I am, when I am not totally dressed up or when I can't buy what ever I want I get down on myself thinking that I am so embarrassing because I don't have the latest and greatest outfit. OUTFIT. Seriously? I have some stuff I need to work out. I have spent way too long caring about these stupid things. I have just measured my self worth on material things, when it does not matter. I feel awful about it. Chasen, has blessed me with some precious life changing stories and a better understanding of what is important in life. I love him and I am so grateful for his service, sacrifice and testimony of the Gospel.

You're only a day away

MY BROTHER IS COMING HOME FROM HIS MISSION IN PERU ON FEBRUARY 8TH. I decided that I will spend a whole week at my parents house to just stare at Chasen when he finally gets here!!!!!! I miss him like crazy, I can't wait to give him a hug and hear him say " oh you are so stupid Aubrye." haha Best Friend Brother Bear!!!!!! Here is him being silly checkin' the scene at the Floating Islands in his what I call "tribal gear."

I can't even wait to hear this story! ha

Birthday Partay...

Flower Themed of course! We had a blast! Claire was taking it all in but we loved it! I was sick the week of so I had some amazing help! So thanks for saving the day everyone! My Little Girl Turned 1

We have a ONE year old! Oh this makes me think that time really goes by fast! Claire is so fun right now and I can't believe our Heavenly Father has blessed us with her, oh my gosh I can't even put in to words how much I love that little baby! She is our everything and I would not have it any other way. How am I ever going to let her go? I don't know that I will! :) So we had two parties, because we have to Celebrate everything twice so here is her actual Birthday..... At Texas ROADHOUSE! ha
